Mehul Tank | Dental Technician | Photographer

Born and raised in Gujarat, India, Mel grew up drawing and developing an artistic skill at an early age. In his youth, he dreamed of traveling to America and making a name of his own. Mel later realized that this dream would turn into reality when he landed in Philadelphia for the first time with nothing other than a few hundred dollars, a suitcase in hand, and his goal to create his own dental laboratory. Mel acquired his MDT in 2006 and his CDT in 2007. Now, Mel is the key leader in building his company Precise Dentech and providing perfect care to dentists and patients. Apart from his dental work, Mel enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, watching football, and photographing landscapes.

Working side by side with Mel, Dana picked up her dental expertise through practice and training. Before Precise Dentech was established, she started off as a waxer and later worked in plaster-work. Dana was with Mel from the start of his business, helping him curate the laboratory that they had envisioned and designing a company that embodied perfection. Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, cooking, and swimming.
